Self-taught filmmaker. I direct and shoot films and stills, consult on campaigns and AI-powered content ecosystems, co-founded Studio Fry, wrote a book, and coach filmmakers on the business of the craft.
who am I
Started in marketing at Dell at twenty. Fifteen months in, a Nikon D3000 — left behind by the woman who is now my wife and co-founder — changed the plan. Photography school in Ooty, co-founded Studio Fry in 2014, and over 600 projects since — direction, production and everything in between: Netflix, Coca-Cola, Nescafé, Zomato, Licious, the Mumbai Indians.
The craft kept compounding: stills became films, films became hi-speed tabletop at 1000fps, hi-speed demanded motion-control robots — and since 2023 the robots share the floor with AI. I directed and produced my first AI film that year and haven’t looked back: today I work in hybrid workflows, where you shoot for real and generate, and the audience can’t see the seam.
